A Review of the Year and Lessons Learned in 2021

Despite 2021 starting with a lockdown, I began the year feeling cautiously optimistic. I felt refreshed after a winter break of not being able to do very much, people were getting vaccinated and the days were starting to get longer. It’s the end of the year which must mean that it’s time for my classic end of year round up! I was keen to leave 2018 behind but was unsure what 2019 was going to bring. 2018 was always going to have a lot to live up to. 2017 had involved changing job, moving city and an awful lot of travel.
